Specialty areas of cerebral palsy, little people, and birth defects are a
major focus of patient care and custom orthosis fabrication in addition to the
more usual pediatric and adult orthotic and prosthetic needs.
We care for patients from throughout the United States and five continents in
support of physicians at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Kennedy Kriegger Institute, St.
Joseph's Hospital, University of Maryland and other local institutions. At the same time, through
clinics across Maryland, we provide services to many more patients from the
Middle Atlantic region.
Personnel and facilities are certified by ABC (The American Board for
Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc.) meeting its standards for
patient care and business practices. Our practitioners works with leading
physicians as part of teams made up of physicians, orthotists and prosthetists,
therapists, nurses and other care givers. These close working relationships are
particularly important to achieving successful outcomes for patients.
